Beastie Boys' Ready Make Music Oven

For those of you who are fans of the Beastie Boys, or the Beasties as those of us in the know call them, you need to check out their website at www.beastieboys.com. It's a good site for a lot of reasons - access to news, tour dates, music and more.

However, for my hard earned free time and the money I am not spending to get an internet connection because my wireless picks up my neighbors, the most fun part is the large banner across the top of the page.

Let's start with the visual, moving left to right. First we have a not too happy looking baby (duck, it may hawk a loogie) in front of a white sound system. Next we have a bowl of tortilla chips , various kinds of salsas, guac, and the coupe de grace -- lit large Mexican votive candles, a red and a white one (the kind you find in the Hispanic food aisle, without the Catholicism).

There's also a glass with what looks like a nice, cold, refreshing beverage with ice. Then we have two black and white cats, kitties if you will, that are reverse images of each other. Next there is a crude drawing of a light blue rabbit, bunny or dinner if you prefer, with an unhappy face, or possibly it's a man in a bunny suit. But not like the Homicidal Bunny Rabbit in Donnie Darko.

Finally, we have a mixing board.

But it's the audio that's the best part. By running your cursor over each image, a sound pops out. Now these are unique sounds. According to Mister Fanboy Music, our resident expert, who can translate sounds into words, they sound like this:

And finally, HINDUDDUNDAH with an underlying beat of THTH.

When you randomly move the cursor over the images you get these fun sounds and can create your own beats. Who needs MixMaster Mike?

Actually, we all do. But that's besides the point. Much like the Easy-Bake Oven, your creativity is the limit. Check it out and become your own Beastie Boy, Girl, Man, Woman, Infant, or Tranny Intersexed person.

Funny aside. When looking an image of a tranny, I did an image search with the words transvestite and family, but accidentally misspelled transvestite. My one result is below. Hmmm....
