Y, The Last Man: Life Expectancy Around 60

Vertigo's Y, The Last Man series will end around issue 60. The decision is apparently that of the author/creator Brian K. Vaughan as the story will have run its course. For those unfamiliar with the series it follows the travails of Yorrick Brown, who is believed to be the last living male on the planet after a virus took out all of the other males. Along for the post-apocalyptic adventure is a secret agent, geneticist, and Ampersand, Yorrick's male monkey. Besides great storytelling, the series' covers are wonderful riffs on other well known imagery. Pick up the back issues or trade paperbacks. You won't be sorry.
