Word on the street with all the cool kids (and if you don't know who they are, you're not one of them, are you?) is that Marvel and Fox are looking into the possibility of doing a whole series of character-based X-Men spin-offs due to the staggering success of X-Men: The Last Stand. In addition to the previously mentioned Wolverine solo-flick for Hugh Jackman and the possibility of doing a Magneto-prequel of sorts (when he was younger), they are considering a New Mutants-type film following the students at the Institute. Additionally, an Emma Frost vehicle is being considered as well. There seems to be some confusion as to whether or not they would be the same film, though we doubt that a film version of the X-Men's resident porn star would mesh well with a coming of age teen film. Unless it was the XXX-Men, then it might work.
